Retractable stretch ceilings are one of the methods of making roofs for long openings. One of the advantages of this method is the low thickness of the roof and this type of roof is mostly used for buildings with office use. Disadvantages of these ceilings have prevented the expansion of the use of these ceilings in Iran. The main disadvantages of these roofs are the high cost of the skeleton, poor performance and rigidity, and their vibration compared to other roof systems. There have also been reports of damage to these roofs, some of which are addressed.
